Fox University
Branding Design
When Fox Motors created a new development program for its employees, Grace was tasked with creating its logo and branding for promotion and communication. The concept explained was to have a unified “Fox University” the encompasses all of the schools of training, but each individual school would also have their own logo and color.
Original Logo Options
With little guidance given, Grace provided a range of logo options, to gauge the direction that Fox Motors would like to go with the logos.
Schools of Training
Our Fox University is a development program, offering training for employees to advance in their careers. Employees will be able to learn management skills for those looking to move into leadership roles, sales techniques to excel in various sales roles, and technical skills to become a certified automotive technician
There are various courses, or “schools” to complete, depending on the employee’s growth goals. These individual schools within Fox University need to be considered while designing logos, so all logo ideas were explored for the schools as well:
School of Management
School of Sales
School of Technicians / School of Mechanics

The Decision
In the end, the final choice was made to remove the Automotive options, since these schools will be teaching more than strictly Fox’s automotive employees.
The logo above was chosen for the simplicity, boldness and fun it inspires. Also, shortening the name to “Fox U” seemed to be a practical choice for future use.
Application of Design.
After selection of the Fox U logo set, application on printed materials began. Below are two banner design options, applied to all three school logos.
